Welcome To HANKCOUNTRY.COM

About Hank FM-

HANK FM Plays "Everything Country" - and follows the belief that listeners of Country music want to hear more than just the same top 100 country songs over and over.

At Hank FM we realize that todays Country music fan has very sophisticated musical taste. Television, iPods, satellite radio, movies, video games, CD boxed set compilations and various peer to peer file sharing services have all provided music consumers with a vast depth of songs and artists to choose from and explore. Today it is not unusual for someone to discover the music of Merle Haggard alongside something new from Gretchen Wilson. So whether it's been around for 50 years or 50 hours, the consumer has instant access to anything they would like to listen to.

Because of this HANK’s music library tops 1000 titles and is what we like to call "Wide Open Country"-No tight play-lists, and no rules. The Music heard on HANK FM includes current stars like Rascal Flatts, Gretchen Wilson, Keith Urban and Sugarland, but the real secret to the sound, is just "Playing Everything Country." We play great country music from the watershed eras of Country such as "The Outlaw Movement" of the mid 70's that brought us Waylon and Willie. The "Urban Cowboy" movement of the late 70's and early 80's that brought Charlie Daniels and Bonnie Rait to a larger audience. The "New Traditionalists" of the mid 80's that spawned the careers of Dwight Yoakum, Ricky Scaggs, the Judds and Randy Travis. The "Country Explosion" the of the late 80's and early 90's that saw the debut of superstars like Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt and Vince Gil to name a few. Plus we play artists who have been influenced by, and have influenced Country, but weren’t considered country artists such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Eagles, The Allman Brothers, The Marshall Tucker Band and many more. And of course we play all the Hot Country from the late '90's to today including Toby Keith, Big and Rich and Kenney Chesney.

Connecting the dots from Johnny Cash to Big and Rich. The New, the Know, the Legends…and the Mavericks of country music - all one radio station.

"Crank it to Hank!!"
